I have to say this about Acer - It is awesome! OK not that much. But my laptop has worked very well for me.

I have Acer Aspire 5920, and it has been through thick and thin with me. I have tried so many Linux distros on it and very very rarely has it given me any hardware glitches.

Only problem, and a very minor one at that, is improper driver support. They have all the "latest" drivers on their website, but hon estly I don't trust them with those drivers.

All in all I am very happy that I bought an Acer laptop.
