Adobe is removing Flashplayer from Google Play Store on Android. It will also stop development of theFlash player for mobile devices.

Adobe said in its blog, “We made the decision todiscontinue support for Android mobile browser because of two reasons: 1)Premium experiences on mobile devices are typically being delivered throughapps and 2) Mobile websites mostly rely onHTML5 based video delivery.”

Adobe will continue to provide security updatesand bug fixes for users who have already installed the player until September2013. The company has also said it will continue to work on development ofFlash for PCs.

i disabled flash in firefox. now those html5 youtube ads that autoplay are a pita. otherwise, its been a nice experience without flash till now. best part is no annoying flash banners or heavy animation loading in webpages.

I watch cartoons online and they are in flash ... let flash live. :(
This is why I won't upgrade to JB 4.1 or buy apple pads ..
love it or hate it flash is needed.

adode flash player is least used on android phones
but its good if the company is working on developing Flash for PCs..
