aww....damm! bad luck man... i think warranty claiming would be difficult, you can try one thing which my friend did to get his gcard rmaed when it was burnt...he cleaned all the dark areas with alcohol and no one could tell it was burnt and bravo! he got a new card....

EDIT: MasterBrain are you sure?

Bad luck. If the burnt parts are not visible then you have a good chance of getting it rma'ed otherwise its rma will be almost impossible. Try to clean the burnt area.

^ but when i tried to start it again , it started burning again , and when i send for RMA they will try running it and it will again burn

Although there is a chance that you might get lucky and get a replacement but I wouldn't be 100% sure if I were you.

ohh man this sucks....sure can't blame it on TX750 ...has to be mobo's fault....somehow try clearing those burn marks, act n00b and go to shop....if it burns in front of shopkeeper, bash them for testing mobo on a crappy PSU (2000% they'll use generic one)

hmm but it still smokes when started , so they cant say i burned somehow , its board's fault :(

i removed and put everything again and still it gives smoke when started :|

this is very unusual for the board to smoke whenever you turn it on when it was working fine earlier.

I would suggest you remove the board from the cabinet & test it in an open setup with a bare minimum of wiring & components. It could be the cabinet, some idle screws at the back or the backplate of the heatsink maybe that could be causing this.

Test it in an open setup & let us know.

^ i have taken it out , the chips below the heatsink are busted , and the area cannot be cleaned also . :S i am sure it will burn again when started . should i take it to service center? or contact gigabyte first?

if its still happening in the open setup then i guess you should contact gigabyte & take it to the service center.

If you have a spare psu then just test the rig once with a diff psu & see if that makes a difference.

i cant believe that this is happening to you. remove the burn marks.. Try Try Try and then go for RMA else u will have no option than dumping into dustbin cuz most manufacturer dont consider RMA if the thing is burnt or short circuited..

overclock to the max & don't use 750W+ PSU he used to tell me
now whose crying max overclocker or controlled overclocker :p

sorry could not resist

no offense

^ thanks for the comment
