Ramadoss was always a dunderhead....will remain so...besides everyone knows how popular he is at AIIMS
sydras said:Did I mention that many times, the docs are beaten up in these areas if the relatives of a patient can't understand why the patient has died? But to be honest, this kind of thing could happen anywhere.

they lobbied to remove this a few yrs ago i think
In my line of work they show you the door, arguably thats just as bad if not worse. Software is an export sector job, hire & fire, not as protected as others.sydras said:Maybe someone should come beat you up at work if you make a mistake :bleh: . j/k.
sydras said:However, I do agree that willful malpractice is something that cannot be overlooked and there ought to be laws for this. But just think, if one gets caught up in our (crappy, inefficient) legal system and the doctor is innocent of any wrongdoing, his life is ruined and it's a shameful loss to society if he cannot practise anywhere.

i mean no one would live in such filthy conditions!! but the PG students do and get a salary of 12k!!!
Hacker said:Why cant doctors who have lived in these hostels donate some money and time to make these hostels better. I know bureaucracy will be involved but then someone has to do something or else this will go on and on.
blr_p said:It was there upto 2004, doctors ganged up and got it removed, laws dont dissapear on thier own usually, maybe paid to get it removed is more accurate. They tend to be more effective at getting laws changed than techs.
blr_p said:Personally i think doctors have huge egos. Dealt with quite a few already over the yrs, trying to understand the reasons of certain diganoses, them claiming to be busy and giving me half assed answers. Well shit, if i'm paying you then you better well explain it me in a manner i can understand.
