airtel 3g data connections drops frequently

sometimes data connection gets disconnected frquently for every 2seconds like that.... its very irritating and creates problem if i am in the middle of some bank transaction..... usually in this situation i manually disconnect the data and reconnect it......for some time it works fine and then problem starts....

i am using airtel prepaid in htc explorer.....location: noida...

is this kind of problem normal to data connections?
 
it used to happen with me, for me after using 30-40 minutes, the signal totally goes blank and the phone have to be restarted :(

so i switched back to 2G and now it works fine
