I've an AIRTEL 256Kbps always on unlimited connection.... My rig runs 24/7 & is always connected... I am getting a problem since last two weeks... After 1-1.30 am. it disconnects, sought of connection hangs... Even though the local area icon displays as connected with the icon in the system tray showing this, there is no data transfer & no site is opened...
The biggest problem is Azureus stops downloading... Now When I see this I usually have to open the LAN Status>Support>Repair & it refreshes the connection, connecting again... but now Azureus shows a NAT error & download speed suffers....
Sometimes this method does not work & after restartig the computer & MODEM the Azureus refuses to use the port assigned giving a NAT Error again... Now I have to change the port no. to enable NAT...
Every time have to assign s different port & all earlier assigned ports do not work.. I listed them since last two weeks....
Where is the problem... I have given IP addresses in TCP/IP properties as per AIRTEL customer care...but still the problem is unsolved except the frequency of disconnections has decreased...:huh:
