Well, AFAIK, it just block the IP addresses of those who are monitoring torrents. Also these send fake data, so they are blocked for that reason too.
 
Fukctel is throttling Bit Torrent Traffic it s true.

I am getting full speed on utorrent while Outgoing Encryption protocol is set to Forced

But I am getting slow speed while it set to Enable

and getting very slow speed when it set to disable.

Last week even my connection was being throttled. Now its back to normal. Guess it was some problem with ISp as everyone had same problem. But i feel that they might be taking steps to do it :no:
 
when i download any torrent in day time i get about 5 - 40 kbps and i am suppose to get 250 kbps, and at night time the same torrent runs fine at 220 - 270 kbps, when i tell them(Airtel customer service) about it then they always say the same thing we don't support Torrents check the speed by downloading something from microsoft.com i mean are they really serious am i suppose to download movies and games from microsoft.com Damn airtel please if someone has any idea what to do in this case help me out please.

Dont get Faitel if you plan to download using torrents. You bust your limits in no time.. Read and see what plans they have, mostly all the plans are as shitty as they are.
Only benefit of Failtel is that they have a very good customer care, I was really impressed with their CC but their FUPs are bad@$$.

If your looking for a new connection try up Reliance Wired Broadband and not wireless $hi7, speed is good , but CC sucks! Thats the general trend of the Reliance guys!

reliance is not fesable in my area thats the problem

P.s i also stay at Gopalapuram which it is near MRF LAL where i already have reliance broadband available at my area and in Gopalapuram which street u stay


and i am using Reliance at my games center where it has no problem but sometime it has freq disconnected due to auto ip address

Hi arun i stay near the gopalapuram play ground btw i checked with them need a net connection urgently so booked for airtel :D
