Airtel Offering Me New Scheme

Yesterday I got a call from Airtel head office asking me to migrate my current broadband plan(384kbps unlimited) to a special plan 512kbps unlimited during day and 1mbps unlimited during night (they said its specially for me :ohyeah: ). With charges remaining same. I accepted the offer. What you guys think??? Does this scheme already exist ??? or am i really tat special :rofl:

Now i get a speed of 600 kbps :clap:

Yup there are some plans given by them one of them is the same as u mentioned and iirc the price is 1299 - 512kbps at day with FUP and 1Mbps at nite without FUP isnt it??.
 
nice deal man!

but i hope airtel doesnt do an about turn with you. or start cheating you of bandwidth! or even deny any such deal after some time.

with these damned private ISPs, you never know.

This plan is not listed anywhere & only offered to folks in Delhi & NCR region... Nothing of this sort in any other circle... No offers nothing... :(
 
I called up Bangalore CC and they had no idea about any new plans, same old 512 kbps U/L for 1499 and 1 mpbs for 2222 :(

Airtel offered me a 1mbps unlimited plan for Rs 1699/- p.m. Additionally monthly 1 hour free speed on demand for 2 mbps speed. Should be getting it in 2 days or so. :hap2:
 
You can send a mail to the customer care department requesting for plan details for Turbo 1299.

512 kbps during day, and 1 mbps at night (10 PM - 6 AM)
FUP - 100 GB, after which speed gets reduced to 256 kbps.

The plan is available in Hyderabad. I had applied for it yesterday and also received a confirmation.
 
These Airtel plans seem pretty decent, so I'm hoping BSNL will soon join the party as it is going to be too much of a hassle for me to change ISPs. What I don't get is why they figured it was a good idea to enter into the FUP debacle but maybe that is what led to this.
 
charges remaining the same?? are you certain? my friend got the exact same call and he was on the same plan as you. they asked him to pay an extra 300 rupees every month as a top up for getting double speed at nights making it 1299 + 300 = 1599 a month.

for 1699 now you get 1mbps unlimited all day long.
 
Today CC called me again and offered 1mbps unlimited @Rs.1699 (FUP applicable) to my office line.

Has any one been offered a similar plan in Delhi/NCR .. If yes , then i ll call em straight away and ask for it .. and if they don't give .. threaten to leave them :rofl:

EDIT - Gave them a call , i am migrating to Turbo 1299 . Should be done it three days . :D:D
