i get a feeling, airtel is calling up most active downloaders and giving them better plans at some discounted rate so that it seems like a really good deal but the real intention being to get them under FUP

AFAIK home 999 also has FUP and these plan too

only plan with speed upto 256 kbps has no FUP

only if you have taken a new connection or changed your plan since FUP came into effect. (confirmed from CC recently). older customers plan remain as it is

I mailed to Airtel's Customer care mail id and said i need Turbo 1299 plan else i'm canceling the connection..I also mentioned that Youtelecom broadband is providing 512 kbps for 775 rs, where as im paying 800 bucks for 256kbps shit.

Thats it !

Today morning i received a call and an email with those 3 sweet spl plans...

Turbo 1299, Freedom 1699, Freedom 2999

I've told them to activate Freedom 1699 plan (1mbps ul)

A simple mail and wat a worth :rofl:
 
Me too got a confirmation call for Turbo Plan 1299 this morning (after several calls/mails to CC)

It looks like these new plans are offically available for all over the India now
