AIRTEL SPEEDS IN DELHI no double speed at night????

Can't comment on that since, in the south we never had that option in the first place.

I never did understand the rationale of why one part of the country gets a better deal from the same company than the rest for the same amount :huh:

Is it a harder market to crack than the south ? ..Sunil Bharti comes from Ludhiana, would have thought that would be his turf anyway. Maybe they reached their target and don't need to offer sweetners anymore ?

I don't decide these things, and no one is forcing me to use Airtel anyway, but given the competition, its the best choice, and i dont really live out in the sticks either.

Hehe, i gave them my bsnl #, and told them thats the only one they can reach me at. When asked why i did not use the Airtel line, i told them i did not need it, but thanked them for the nice phone.

If i ever need to call them up its a free call anyway, just call their exchange up direct.

Btw i was searching for similar issues with other Airtel Delhi users and seems there've been similar problems for a no. of Delhi users, especially S. Delhi (Source: Indian Broadband Forum)

So after reading a bit about that, I angrily switched off my modem, restarted it and then did this again 3 times ( Yes Yes low bandwidth drives me crazy :P) ..Guess what? For god-knows-what reason..I'm back to d/l 50+KB/s :hap2:

I was getting 512kbps last night on my Ubuntu machine (for 1 hour only)

BTW, long live the broadband year. Looks like Airtel was under huge pressure from Dyanidhi Maran. As soon as he has resigned, they have done this :(

i wonder why he didn't push for dbl speeds in the south or at least for his state.

or..could it just be the that there is no connection at all between the two.
 
Just thot i'd let the ppl kno, getting 2Mbps on airtel right now, seems a temop thing.....should last for around 1 hr (hopefully) enjoy :D
