OMG it looks great :O
Although i have seen both AvP movies are those Alien ones great? Have seen the 1st one long time back though did not liked it much. Anyways worth watching?

The first 2 movies from the Alien franchise is kick-ass! The first one that started it all - Alien was directed by Sir Ridley Scott that came out in 1979, who is also in charge of the prequel to the original movie he had directed - Prometheus (arrives this June 8, and the movie has been hyped on all levels so watch out for this one). 8 years later, the sequel - Aliens was out, directed by James Cameron. The primary protagonist of the series is a female character Ellen Ripley played by Sigourney Weaver. Her acting was exceptional in the first two movies coming from a female lead character. The original movie bagged an Oscar for the best vfx and Aliens garnered two for vfx and sound editing. The second one has more action than the first which is primarily a space-fiction horror movie like Event Horizon. The third one was a complete downer which was directed by David Fincher but then again that was his directorial debut and hell, a fourth one was also out Alien: Resurrection that sucked completely on all fronts.
If you haven't watched them yet, it isn't too late!
The game's trailer looks like a sequel to the second movie from the background commentary and the sequences shown. I don't want to spoil this any further. Please watch the movies. @Aman27deep - applies to you as well if you haven't watched it yet.

How can you guys miss this franchise? These are the prime examples why the 80's and 90's were the most amazing era for sci-fi movies. :)

Totally! After Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, I'd rate Alien above all the space science fiction movies.

I wanted to but then saw the year of its release 1979. Its way old i never watch such old movies max i do is 90s/2000s and maybe 80s but rarely. I'll give them a shot then. Won't watch 3rd and 4th if they are not worth.

You can safely skip the third and fourth parts. Let this game serve you as the sequel that never made it to the movie. :P

I have them in my collection, just gotta watch 'em!

Not a really great trailer but I have my hopes set high on this title. After Borderlands 2, this should be Gearbox's next big offing.

I am assuming you have started watching 'em Aman. :P

Crap that sucks! Sorry Aman. Anyways worry not, you should be able to clear the backlogs in no time. :console:

**** this is awesome! :scared14:

More like a 1:1 copy of Cameron's Aliens but I don't mind that as long as there're a whole bunch of Xenomorphs to be slayed and the proximity sensor keeps ticking! :ohyeah:

^^ Honestly, dubstep and a bunch of dude bro over the top clichéd USMC dialogues is all that I got out of that trailer.

GEARBOX and SEGA can both do better.
