What on earth is wrong with Gearbox?!
On one hand they make good games like Borderlands and BIA and then on the other hand - this?
Unbelievable. As someone who enjoys playing primarily SP games, I would say this is another franchise I enjoyed in ruins.
Good thing I decided to wait for reviews because at one point I was going to pre-order it.
Maybe Co-op will be decent and keep it alive. Based on the reviews (which is going to have an impact on sales), it wouldn't surprise me if its down to $7.99 by Xmas 2013. Thats when I plan to buy it...

Yeah it night be a good idea to grab it during the Steam Summer sale.
Anyhow adding to the despair, I tried the game for sometime and I hate to say this but the game sucks monkey balls! Absolutely ridiculous. Everything. There's not a single aspect that fares well. Visuals are pathetic (as dinjo correctly put it, PS2 graphics), soundtracks copied from Cameron's Aliens, sounds from the gunshots sound like fart with no thump, AI sucks so bad (the xenomorphs are supposed to be a scary species from the movies but this is like a walk in the park - all they do is to leap towards the player and scratch them!).
I absolutely loved the series. But this is such a shame. Knowing how well the more recent Borderlands 2 fared, I was hoping this to be good. But looks like we have another Duke Nukem Forever here.

Saw the video comparison done by videogamer and that put into perspective a whole lot about why people called the game awful.

Ethan_Hunt are we going co-op on this or not?Please inform otherwise i will uninstall it as i have tons of other unfinished games waiting.
Uninstall seems fine to me. Me and Gannu had tried to co-op this out, but it didn't work at all. Besides, the game game seemed so retarded, I'd probably not even bother installing it again.
