Aliexpress.com - Feedback Thread

Today I like to report out of my 3 shipments one of them which I mentioned in the post number #2054 got delivered by the local postman

The shipment is under 'Sun You' shipping method and the product is lightweight/small/ inexpensive product - Kolkata customs cleared it very fast but the local distribution hub took 7 Days to got it actually delivered - No customs - Ordered during 24 Aug 2020 Sale.

I thought I could use one shipping charge for multiple orders from the same seller but its not possible is it? I tried and the shipping doubled. Even for small light weight item. Is there any way to save shipping costs? Many items have unreasonable shipping charge. :confused:

1. Those item with unreasonable shipping cost is better to avoid them of thinking that it can’t be deliver to India.
2. Contact the seller via PM and ask - most of them are super active.
3. I hard this method - Not sure if it work, Order first and intentionally make the payment fail, then contact the seller with your order number and ask if he can manage to ship the products in the price of one as both are very small light weight..
4. Most of the seller want issue a discount coupon for your next purchase instead of giving you shipping charge off.

Does this involve any risk? And how does one intentionally make the payment fail? Cut off Internet? Also I thought order ID would go through only if payment is successful.

I'm a little confused. Do you mean "want to" or "won't"?
I haven't bought anything from Aliexpress so the many questions. Please excuse.

(1) Intentionally Failed payment - Don't Save / Filled your Credit / Debit Card Details in the Payment Section and Go Ahead and press the Pay button, Then the order already placed and Generate the order ID, After sometime AE will tell you your 'Payment Can't Process or Payment failure' etc etc, Now You start the bargain with AE Seller by clicking the 'Contact Seller' under your order ID <---This was the idea.

(2) Sorry for the mistake as I replying around 2 AM at night - (Past 2-3 days didn't able to sleep due to some Taxation Related issue which now solved) - I intended to write 'They Want To Issue a Discount Coupon' Because They are making very little money by staying in the competition....so Shipping charge also the part of the product price.


I think in Amazon, Most Seller also charging buyer in the name of free shipping despite you are Prime Member or not, Like big seller set price like 1099/-, 1,199/- or 1299/-, my view this 99/-,199/-,299/- is the delivery charges
 
Had ordered 8 items from Aliexpress during August. 3 were ordered in first week and 5 in last week. Only 3 had tracking and rest were through Cainiao or SunYou. Received 6 packages yesterday together and rest 2 should be delivered in a day or two. No custom duty on any of them till now but they were very small and cheap items like phone case, magnetic adaptor for charging cable, a flexible type-C charging cable etc.
 
Very poor service from cainiao sunyou still no delivery already 2 months passed away

Today Second Package Out of Three which I mentioned in the post no #2054 arrived via Special Line YW which is delivered by the local postman, Earlier (Pre-Covid) this line handled by the GATI now it is Malasyia Post. Anyhow the shipping speed is very very slow. :(

Small Lightweight package - there is INR 700 figure mysteriously show up in the 17 Track website, don’t know why ? Thought this will need to be paid but No Custom charged during delivery. :) :)

that is the pincode chopped off. you can see it was sent to the post office with pincode 700001 on the indian tracking page, same pincode truncated appears on the malaysian tracking page

It's showing in india but my package doesn't show india travel history it's only says arrival in india airport from 2 month
 
My package with some small items through YW special line has taken about 25 days to reach Mumbai and is now stuck there for last 7-8 days to be dispatched to bangalore as per 17track....I guess it will take another 15-20 days once it reaches bangalore as it seems bangalore customs is opening almost all packages these days.
 
I want to order a case for my phone from aliexpress and found 2 sellers and cost is almost same. One seller is shipping through "SunYou Economic Air Mail" and another with "Cainiao Super Economy for Special Goods". Which one should I use in hope of getting the product?

Both are same courier with different names
 
Ordered 2 batteries for my V20 phone on 6th aug'20.
I was not sure if they would be delivered or not.
And there was no update for two months on tracking sites, but on 16th Oct the batteries were delivered.
Just in time, as I was about to buy a new phone during the sale.

More info on my purchase-
Initially the shipping to india was not available, the seller added that and asked me to order, to see if aliexpress is accepting the order or not, as they were not sure about shipping to india themselves.
They even gave me an USB c wire for free because of price fluctuation on my second order of the same battery.
And they routed the package from Turkey (not sure why) to india.
