Aliexpress.com - Feedback Thread

Aliexpress is not allowing me to search products without logging in, once I click search it redirects me to login page.
this started like 15-20 days back.
Just curious is it me only or they implemented some new policy or something.

Keeps happening.. And the loggin in process also sucks. Man I'm addicted to browsing AliExpress even though I have no money left for all the junk i collected/want to collect from there. Thanks to ze government cheap shipping has become pretty much non-existant.

aliexpress is forcing users to login/signup to increase sales.

here's trick for window-shoppers:
open incognito window.
search your item in google with keyword aliexpress, eg. 'aliexpress esp32 type-c'
then open any aliexpress page from google search.
now aliexpress will not force you to login.
 
yes I already tried and this thing works.
search any item directly from google and reach aliexpress via google's searched link.
then we're free from aliexpress's forced login.

It is not so much to increase sales as to track your browsing and record your data. I don't remember which app I had used once but it used the Alibaba ad platform. As soon as I exited the AliExpress app, that app immediately displayed all the products I browsed through as ads even though I hadn't logged in. They are pretty much tracking data at the device, IP-address or phone-number level.

Hence, I solely use AliExpress on the browser in incognito mode along with VPN, since it is another instance of Chinese data mining.
 
Did anyone order anything from the recent 11.11 Sale?

I ordered only one product and it's been shipped through Special Line-YW. I haven't had any shipments come through this shipping method before, has anyone had any shipments come through Special Line-YW? How is it?
 
From what u heard it's the only shippment which is sending parcels.. I did rrceved a product just a while back via the same shipping and I got it almost month after

Yup 3 shipments inbound with the same line - Actual value INR 600+, 1600+, 2500+
Post-Covid this is the one major shipping line remain and most sellers prefer this line, So far total 5 times including these three.

At one point in time, you feel you may not receive the item but you definitely will - All Package route through Malaysia Post hense it takes time...It may land in Mumbai but Custom Clearance is done by the local i,e Kolkata...clearance speed is fast so far.

They used to be delivered by Gati in India. Are Gati still doing the Indian delivery or has it now been given to India post?

Yes...After shipments done usually product reached to my location less than 2 weeks - Golden Days.....I think Gati China Picked up the Consignment and then handed to Gati India at their Delhi Clearance Gateway.

Now it is only Malaysia Post + India Post Combo - Gati is nowhere in the picture.

Yeah the Gati China & India combo was the best. I used to receive products in max 2 weeks without customs.

Let’s see how the Malaysia post and India post combination does.

Also any idea about Sunyou & Cainiao? What delivery method they use?

A lot my small 2$-3$ items show reached India by Sunyou but have not been delivered to me for 20-25 days now since reaching India.

Thank-you my friend for sharing the information! How is the Custom Clearance and Duty scene these days? Any of your recent shipments got held up for Duty? You remember we had to write for some of our shipments to Kolkata Customs a while ago for release of our shipments.
 
Ordered 6 items on 28th October, one of those got delivered 2 days ago. Rest but one are with "Last Mile Carrier". That one item is a battery for an old phone, being routed through Turkey and it left Turkey on 6th November but no update on it till now.
