D90 + 18-55 lens + f/1.8 50mm prime + the sigma 105mm macro + the other lens = 56k
OR
Canon 550D + 18-55 IS + 55-250 IS + f/1.8 50mm Prime + tripod for roughly the same amount
:Comp3:
err doesn't the D90 come with a 18-105 VR as a kit lens ? Also if I am not wrong , its much better than the 18-55. I would suggest you take the D90 with the 18-105.
Good choice. I've been using it for a while and the second screen on top really helps. Changing setting using shortcuts along with that screen is a breeze! You will also love the pentaprism viewfinder!soggy316 said:Thanks for the input guys, I guess D90 is way to go.

just the tripod-head combo :bleh:Aces170 said:What, are you saying all that for $262 only!!
The nikon UWA is for twice the cost.. so thats a no-go. Tamron 90, well the new ones have a AF motor which will work with my sasta body, and macro work is manual focus anyways right.Aces170 said:Hmm nice, how much is the Nikon UWA for? Brendon was complaining about AF issues on 90mm Tamron, speak to him about the Tammy. The Sigma 10-20 is a very nice lens, have used Brendon's (mostly will buy it next year).
The Manfrotto tripods are available in Mumbai (and are competitively priced). They are quite heavy, make sure the person who is bringing them realizes that.
