Amazon Deals and Discounts - 2025

<Edit link removed> It mentions 'Compatible' in title and CMF mostly sells directly through FK.

CMF by Nothing GAN charger 65W for ~1500. Still not convinced it is original, but being sold by Cocoblu so I took a chance. Will arrive Monday (cancelled).

I bought this once. It turned out to be fake as I had done a teardown of another one bought from FK (which was original).
I have seen some fake Apple 20W chargers from Amazon too... Not sure how amazon is letting it be on their platform!

They get away with by mentioning 'Compatible with ' in the title

If someone wants to check whether their CMF charger is original or not, just install "BIS CARE" app and verify the Registration Number (R-Number) as printed on the product.

If the manufacturer shown on the app is CMF, then it is legit.
If any other company, it's fake.

Also works for other products as well, if you know their manufacturers.

I just saw from another thread that the RTX 5080 was available for 28K for a limited time on Amazon. Did anyone else got it? F'n dang good price. For how long did it have the pricing "error"?

Even if it was a pricing error, the orders still got delivered. I was asking for how long it was online till it was rectified. Amazon could've legally been in the right to cancel the sale but I assume the sellers had already shipped by then.
@zibalingz good for you. Forget the selling price, you were already lucky to get it in such a deal. I too would've sold it and then bought a used 3080 or something.

Yes Amazon will mostly ship items if it's from their own seller. Firstly I've noticed way less price errors and secondly price rectifications happen almost instantly when items get listed for the wrong price and comes back in stock with the correct price.
If an item stays in stock for a long time it will be over-ordered and obviously cancelled.
Case in point - the 5080 was there for a while. Even after I placed an order for 1, there was still stock available.
I didn't want to order more for the likelihood for multiple orders being cancelled. Prepaid orders may be given priority over cod orders but I can't say with certainty though.

Wow. So much happened with the sale thread. Not to beat the dead horse, but it was a bad faith act. Yes, no harm was done but it clearly damaged people’s trust.

I understand the seller’s POV. I also dislike the idea of flipping but that’s fair because of demand and supply logic. But the solution to morally ambiguous cannot be outrightly illegal. What a lapse of judgment.

Seller has apologised. A willing buyer has bought it and is satisfied. All’s well that ends well.
