Thought it was a little too good to be true. Pathetic on Amazon's part. Those who do get the actual can consider themselves to be really lucky.

I am thinking of cancelling the order instead of waiting for it to get delivered tomorrow-what say people? Unnecessary return after receiving will only add time to it I think.
Can anyone confirm if they have received 960gb?
 
^ looks like multiple items are clubbed through a single page with different options.
such items might have misleading / incorrect titles to attract the prospective buyers.
 
i doubt its amazon ,its the vendor and additionally you should raise a case with amazon , he will give a proper danda to the vendor

Yep received a 480GB here too, disappointing that amazon's own seller is sending the wrong drives, they could've just informed everyone it's back-ordered and shipped the correct one at a later date.
Instead they shipped the 480GB one knowing everyone will ask for a replacement with only 10 days left, so there's no option left but to refund it as the CC confirmed the product is not in stock with the seller.
Sad state of affairs.

Lol believe it or not I've actually sent some mails to that email years ago. I got a response which said something like "Jeff Bezos has read your email something something." It's like a template reply but also has some non-template reply too. Anyone thinks he actually read those mails? Lol.
Anyway, have you guys contacted Amazon CC asking wtf is going on? This seems to be intentional.

Usually, for all executive escalations, the email gets forwarded to an executive escalations team. How effective this team is depends on the org, but I've heard Amazon's response to EEs is not bad.
