What's the difference? I mean, what's 'premium' about the former?
(I don't know much about almonds.)
Just a marketing gimmick.
Also in case you didn't know, its now perfectly legal in India to claim "100% Natural" on the packages even if they aren't as long as you put a disclaimer on the back of the package saying the "100% claim" is just a brand name/trademark (I have no idea what this means, go figure). I first came across this on twitter long ago. Many companies do this now.

52k is not a bad price but I don't think its a VFM over 3900X or 3900XT. 10K price difference does not looks right.
AMD recently acquired more of TSMC fab capacity and have planned to pump out more 5900X in the upcoming months to combat Rocketlake.

So, definitely worth the wait if someone is not in a rush.
Yepp, they increased their orders on GPU and CPU by 20%.

Excellent price. too bad as usual now because of the Maha lockdown everything will go back to shit!

Not sure why my post was not approved by the mod, rather deleted.

Anyways, I don't think the prices in US will drop this early, given they have the performance crown and every chip they make gets sold even if the price is high. The availability might increase but will be sold at MSRP at most.
But in India it could come down to a more reasonable (not for me, I don't need that many cores) 49k-ish like burntwingz said. I suspect the demand for 5900x is not that high here?

Though AMD does need a $200 part.

I am not going to but the 5900X until it hovers are the price that is was supposed to sell, below MSRP. Otherwise may upgrade to a 3950x rather.

If you plan 3950 at current rate at around 68 that would be stupid one could get a 5950 by adding 6 to 7k the local market prices would be lower than the online prices

Out of 1-100 how positive are you that this will enable them to lower the price of whatever they are selling?
Because I'm about to bite the bullet.
FYI I don't care about the R7's and i7's. I'm only after the middle range ones.

Waited 3 months for the 5900x to drop to a reasonable price, had to order the 3800x couple of days back.

The APU's are "later this year."
No sign of non-X. No sign of i5 11400f either (i5 11500 ~18k). Two most popular series are not available. F.
But because the price for the i5 11500 is 18k I'm hopeful that we can get the 11400f at around 14-15k. There's always about 2k difference between each model.
