If you're fine with buying refurb then I suggest that for 1700. Hardware is exactly the same but remote has a couple buttons extra for netflix and shit in the newer model.
I bought it last year it's brand spanking new basically.

Just so people know, you can remap the app specific buttons on fire stick remote using an app. But remember that this can only be done if the app is no longer installed on your firestick.
Like in my Onia fire tv version's remote, I have mapped sonyliv button to open Kodi and sonyliv itself is not installed on tv at all. This won't work if tv had sonyliv installed.

The certified refurbished is 2nd Gen with 1.3 Ghz processor.

You get new 3rd Gen with 1.7 Ghz processor for Rs.2399.

2nd Gen is good enough but 3rd Gen is much better.

Yeah I see but still won't make a big difference as both the sticks are only 1080p capable.
On the other hand the 4K stick is also clocked 1.7Ghz (2nd gen only, no 3rd gen for that IIRC) so that's something.
Honestly I have 2 of those 2nd gen 1080p sticks (one bought new and another refurb) and I'm very happy with them.

Would buy it if it's at least 3mm thick. I'm using a 2mm SS mousepad right now and coming from a QcK Mass with 6mm it doesn't feel so comfortable. :/
