Has anybody bought a Renewed Monitor (Sold by Appario. and Fulfilled by Amazon)?

Is it a good idea to buy one?
Not a good idea from my experience. But everyone experience may very ofcourse. I bought a 'MSI G241 renewed' with Amazon fulfilled from Appario. seller. I was expecting a bit used monitor with normal wear/tear or damage but to my surprise the monitor came without base stand and HDMI cable. It came with panel, vertical rod for stand and user guides. The monitor however didn't look touched at all. I still wonder what's happening with this kind of items as the stand slot was deep in the box where the access was not easy nor it should have fallen off itself from box as it was way to big. Other people said on same page that monitor came intact but for me it was not in situation in which i can use it in any way. I ordered a new one for 5.4k more than renewed one as i really wanted to give a try to MSI monitors. They are good enough though. Not Benq quality but far better than Acer ones.

One more vote for NO. I had to return it as the monitor had a horrible flickering issue. The replacement also came with a few parts of the stand missing. Again returned it and it took me 7-8 calls with the support to get them to understand why I can't use it with some parts of the stand mechanism missing. "Renewed" is good for 1-2k worth of items, but more than that, I would not trust Amazon QC.

A contrarian view, I brought a

(Renewed) LG Ultragear 144Hz,1ms 32" QHD (2K) Gaming Monitor with Radeon Freesync - 32GK650

On December 21 for 18k, a new one was 25k, need to say that i couldn't be happier with the purchase except for the badly damaged exterior packing box everything else inside was brand new. got a great deal i guess as now the same monitor is listed now at 29k.
The trick to use to buy Amazon renewed is to buy recently launched models as these are mostly open box returns mostly unused, for older models i have seen that we get slightly used products with visible wear and tear, this I have specifically observed with wireless keyboards
