Received mine today and it is the E27 variant. I'm gonna ask for replacement.

Edit: Replacement not available. I'll have to opt for refund only. Since I have a few more days time to ask for refund, I'll check the local store to see if a converter is available.

I am still keeping it and looking for a converter. All I could find is a 40/- ceramic holder which can be used in lamps. I like the bulb and wanna keep it but without converter it is not useful with standard bulb points in the house.

Those converters cost 20rs only....i have few of those bought 1-2 yrs back when these bulbs were only e27

Try with an amazon account you rarely use ,same happened with me during my s23 purchase my mother's account had 10k off sadly only noticed it after it was delivered

They already have you as a customer why invest more for an old customer, instead invest in luring new customers

Sure that's understandable for a welcome coupon of 250 or even 500. But 20k? That's criminal.

ACT broadband once launched a plan for new users only. Existing users paid 850 for 75Mbps 750GB and for the same price new users could get 100Mbps 1500GB. They denied me the new plan.
Wrote an email to regional manager and they let me get the free upgrade. It's a ridiculous practice punishing existing users.
