I just need it on a home NAS PC which I will switch on weekly once or twice to copy data on the HDDs. That's it. Maybe it will double up as a music streamer sometimes. I guess this Crucial RAM should suffice.

Yes that ram will work fine for such usage but below gskill ram is available for just Rs.200 more so not worth getting crucial ram in my opinion.
