News Amazon Prime TV charging extra for going ad-free

As a lot of people already said, I am going to change to shopping only prime and it's time to sail the high seas properly. I am looking into building a homelab where I can do this properly, or at the very least use debrid with stremio for streaming.

Just started Binge wacthing new series of Panchyat and they have already started showing AD's.

Had to endure 50 sec AD half way through Episode 1, twas for Oppo and Hyundai. I never want ever buy a Chinese Phone in my life - ever! ... so really annoying for me endure this stupid AD.

Glad my subscription comes to an end next month will not renew, just get Prime Shopping instead.

I was watching Stolen when I noticed an ad for first time.

I was like wtf! ...I checked if I am still logged in.

Then I noticed that I will have to pay extra again to be ad-free.

Weird thing is they've reduced prices for prime? 999 for 1 year instead of 1499 :/ Idk if it will stay this way but I feel its fine it they introduce ads at a reduced subscription, no?

No I was dead serious. The point is if we are paying less then its justified upto a point, everything else is BS.

Got a total of 3 ad sets, each about 1 min and 45 seconds long, while watching a 2.5 hr movie on prime. It was torture.

Yeah exactly, 999+699 to go add free still adds up to more than the earlier adfree 1499 but atleast its not as bad as 1499+699 to go add free

They will loose many customers . They made a big mistake.


People are paying money is in itself a big thing. People still get download through other means.

Now you want to increase the price further.
