i will be using this as a htpc..to watch hd dvds etc..
 
was thinking of getting a hd dvd drive, not sure. Guess ill just use my external hdd for movies etc for now.
 
Can some 1 give me realistic prices for the jetway board, x2 am2 3600+, 512 x 2 ddr2 667 kingston value ram, 1 x 2 ddr2 667 kingston value ram, or if ull can suggest some other ram (i plan to oc)

p.s. is this a good setup?
 
3600+ and Jetway = 7.2K
1x2gb Kingston 667 = 4300.

Mine got to 2.4ghz without any effort and at stock volts. :D Only 2 things to keep in mind. The first PCI slot is useless, and this board needs a ATX12v 8-pin power connector.

He is not gona add additional GPU to that board. So 1st pci slot wont be useless for him :P
This board is overclocking easily.
2.5Ghz was way too easy and i am yet to touch the vcore :P
Nice board honestly.

regarding the ram..

dynet 667mhz @ rs1800 - 1gb

kingston value 667mhz @ rs2350(could be cheaper?) - 1gb

i plan to overclock.. im gonna take 2 sticks of ram (1gb x 2) .. is kingston worth the 1100 rs more??

Also PSU.. what do u guys recommend ??
 
get your self the power safe 500w VFM or even the 400w one will do the trick for you. regarding the ram , i have seen many people on the forum happy about the dynet chips , but i still would have gone for the kingston . whether it is worth it or not may be some else might answer it.
