Dont think initially there would be any that would use DX 11 features, it might be a good 6 to 7 months before we see some title with DX11 features

Hardly.... Now we do have simultaneous launches in India... Most companies take ~1-2 weeks max for new product arrivals in India...

Will have to see how they perform n also what NVIDIA has got into their bad.

It's not that case for GPU's. India is becoming largests market for GPU. I won't wonder if new series launch itself would take place in INDIA in near future.:D
 
the 4770 got here pretty fast.it was priced at around 7000 at that time.so,i am expecting a similar story with the 5 series.
 
September release date ...expect a month delay..

n one more for it to arrive locally...

they will probably introduce this before thanksgiving (26th Nov...) n then introduce a jumbo discount for older cards during thanks giving :P

Completely agree. Probably the best time to get a 4xxx series card after they launch 5xxx.

BTW, will they have something on the price range of 4850 but performs better? :huh:

But is there any game in the market that won't give you min 40fps at the highest possible settings in the most complicated of maps and at 1080p resolution with the top end current generation cards?

Don't think there is any need to upgrade until Crysis 2 come up.

The only reason I'd upgrade would be insanely low power consumption in comparison to the current generation cards.Sure its 40nm its going to be smaller and less power hungry but enough to warrant an upgrade?
 
to say the least iam not at all excited about DX 11

i mean common show us some games which use that card

software sells hardware for me and not vice versa
 
@everyone-who-wants-DX11-games-as-a-reason-to-buy-this:

40nm, power saving, double the shader count, performance tweaks enough to ensure speed-boost in current games.... what's not to like? :bleh:
