it wasn't night & day. the 1600 is a very capable cpu. i found lesser frame drops and better 1% lows.

yeah I feel cpus are becoming less and less important.

ac/acc/ams2/titanfall/mw/insurgency. its possible my genre of games don't demand raw cpu performance.

It makes sense now given the games you play and your setup. But yeah even a 3600(x) would have given you similer gaming performance (at least in your games). Older ZENs would bottleneck 3080. Good luck with sale.
