AMD X2 250 or AMD X3 435

Hi Gurus,

This is my first post.

I am planning to assemble a new pc from Nehru place and have following doubts.

Purpose of buying pc:
General Surfing, minimum download,No Games,Minimum movies
will be Remote connecting 2 machines always for 4 to 5 hrs daily.

Query:
I want value for my money,So opting for AMD.Will there be any visual difference to my work if i go for AMD Athlon X2 250 as compared to AMD Athlon X3 435.I will add 2mb RAM.
The latter has 3 cores compared to 2 from the earlier, but the X2 has 2mb cache as compared to X3's 1.5(plz correct me if i am wrong).

The price difference is very less for the 2.

i think a dual core will be more than enough for you since you r not planning to run any demanding applns....

since the price is difference is very less go for x3 435 apps that utilise tri core architecture will benefit from it....also the clock speeds are also almost the same just a difference of .1ghz

As price difference is negligible, i am tilting towards Athlon X3 435 for purchase.
