Amul Protein Buttermilk - Have you tried it?

In Goa where I live, we hardly get Amul products in shops. The shopkeepers tell that the distribution network is less interested and offer lesser margin as compared to other companies. For ice creams and other milk products also, the stocks for milky mist, vadilal, etc. are easily available while Amul stocks are not getting replenished.
once Amul entered, all brands will have tough time ... Amul the TASTE of India ...
About margin, AMUL provides quality product at low price (low MRP) compare to other brands and thus they may not afford to give more margin to retailors/stockiest/distributors.

Yes, Amul is very much affordable and provides better quality and taste. Recently they introduced new ice cream cone flavours like Black currant which at 30 rupees is a steal. Even their chocolate cone at 35 rupees is very good. Others are selling similar for 50 or more and many are charging more for palm oil based frozen desserts.
Someone in Gujarat must be knowing how many new products Amul has launched recently which we have not even heard of

The whole truth protein bars are my favourite now, though a bit expensive, a good quick balance between taste and pre workout snack. I take this 3 times a week.

I also have Amul protein lassi daily. Very good value and proven quality. I prefer the non rose regular flavour.
Have to order 30 pack from their website right?

Btw recently a dedicated Amul shop opened near my home. Like they have literally every Amul product. Ice creams, butter cheese, milk and some bottled cold coffee too but those too don't have these protein buttermilk / lassi / milk.
They told Amul doesn't sell those offline at all.

Being a vegetarian, protein is severely lacking in my diet. "Dal" is what my wife says has protein but I am not every sure. We do have Paneer at least once a week (at home) so there is that. Since I don't even eat eggs, that option is also out of window.
I have proteinx powder in milk daily (approx 150 ml milk) to supplement protein but I am not sure if it even healthy to have it. I am not into intensive workouts so don't want whey protein etc.

Few months back I saw this thing Amul is selling...Buttermilk with 15gms protein. I even read some on this and found that the claim is actually true so unlike marketing gimmicks from many companies, this actually holds true. But seems this thing isn't available in general stores, never seen in Dmart and not even on quick commerce apps.
It seems it is only available in pack of 30 or so. So now way for me to try once or so.

I want to try it out and see if I can inculcate in my lifestyle. Where can I buy it and if you did try it, please suggest how it is.
Proteinex tata 1mg are poor in protein content. Human body needs 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight. Vegetarian have limited choices, as most vegetarian foods tend to be high in calories, fats, or sugars along with protein. Soya is an option, but it may affect estrogen levels. You might consider trying pea protein powder, or if you prefer soya, try Nutrilite protein powder, which contains 80% protein. Watch your calorie intake and aim to stay under 2,000 calories per day. At home, we ttry to consume at least one of the following: chicken, eggs, or paneer every day, along with curd, dal, rajma, and chana; however, I still feel that we lack adequate protein intake. Not been able to get Amul protein, as it is always out of stock. I add amul sagar skimmed milk powder (not dairy whitener) to milk, tea, and coffee for extra protein. Frubon brand protein paneer, has 49 gm / 200 gm, but you should also watch fat content.

Yes. I enquired at the shop first, they only told me online is only option. I snagged 2 30 packs with ipl 10% code beginning of this month.

Yes I love Amul too. One of the authentic great Indian Enterprises we can actually trust..

I don’t think its available offline, not even on amul stores, the only way you can get it is to order online from their site, also if money is not the problem try whey as you said you’re vegetarian. If you’re lucky you can get myprotein or muscleblaze whey for as low as 45rs per scoop for 20-23gm of protein. If you’re not lucky, maybe 50-60 per scoop, whereas on other hand 50rs per bottle of protein lassi for 20gm protein.
