I have proteinx powder in milk daily (approx 150 ml milk) to supplement protein but I am not sure if it even healthy to have it.
please stop this. over the counter shit claimed to be a medical miracle. Its only stuffed with lots of sugar.
And the cost per gm protein is even higher than ON gold.
I am not into intensive workouts so don't want whey protein etc
this is misconception, whey is just extracted/concentrated milk protein.
If you can afford go for it, just dont opt for a inferior Indian brand like patanjali, muscleblaze, etc,
You may also want to avoid blends which has other stuffs like creatine, added testosterone booster, hormones, etc. ( creatine is fine if you are plant eater - but increase you daily water intake in that case).
The quality of food grain and vegetables went to shit in his country, what our grandparent may say is not true in present day. specially if we are living in metro/ tier-1 city. our body need protein regardless the source.
It equally tough for veg or non-veg peoples in India, everything is adulterated, from eggs to chicken injected with estrogen, injecting watermelons with colors....
paneer & tufus --- god only bless who are buying packed stuff.... buying from local authentic shops are the only way.
There are excellent suggestion provided already see what is more feasible for you..
Amul protein sachets found to be good, it's lab tested by many.
Amul may want to build their reputation hence not selling them offline, else ch**ya log will add arraroot power in it as well.
