MTNL is by far the cheapest MSP. We have 3 connections in my family on MTNL and one on Airtel.
The best plan for you is the one they newly introduced. Pay Rs 199/- for a new SIM card and you get 1 year validity with 0.19 per minute for any MTNL landline, Trump, Dolphin or Garuda number and 0.49 per minute for others. What could be cheaper?
You get Rs 300 and 500 recharge vouchers with full talk time which you can couple with the above 1 year validity.
Use it and thank me.
BTW I have had many advantages of MTNL.
Last year I used a Rs 399/- voucher for 1 month validity unlimited calling to all MTNL numbers. I used it by renewing every month for 4 months. After that I discontinued. I kept getting free calls to MTNL number for almost a month after the expiry of validity at the end of the 4th month.
On one Jeevan Sathi number I am expected to recharge at least once in 6 months. I neglected to do it for 8 months and they did not cut it. When I called their CS to enquire about how many more days I had, they told me that my last recharge was 8 months ago so actually my validity period had ended 2 months ago. I recharged after another day or two.
Their network is fine too. The only issue with MTNL is that not everyone stocks their vouchers.
ARe u talking abt prepaid or postpaid...and how is their customer care???
