Any Netflix Account sharing groups on TE ?

Hey, I am thinking of trying netflix account sharing, since the main issue is making it work on a TV (It works fine on laptops and phones from anywhere on the internet) The TV needs to be in the same house hold.

I can setup vpn that lands you to my internet connection for making it seem like its coming from same household every few weeks to make it seem like its coming from same account. I am not sure about it yet whether it will work or not.

If anyone wants to try, ping me, I will set it up and test. Rs 180 per month, 2 slots available, the other 2 slots I will use. If it works fine, we can continue. or will close it off if others need to use it on TV. If anyone wants to join in and will only use it on phone and PC I wouldn't need to do this exercise.

Yes, others can use TV too with either VPN of your home internet which you'll have to host OR with requesting a temporary access code which legally is used in case of travelling.

I've heard that Netflix now blocks mobile/tablets as well if they're on Wifi. No blocks when on mobile data.

No. You are not going to reset the account. The administrator has to open a new gmail account and share the credentials to other members. The administrator has to set forward any emails received from Netflix to the new gmail account where the credentials has been shared with other members. Whenever the Netflix Household settings is received on TV for any member he has to choose the email option on the TV to reset the account. There will be an email from Netflix on the gmail account for resetting the Netflix Household settings.
@technofast , is this still working, could you elaborate from scratch for all once again please
Thanks

Yes, it does work till date and our group is using it without any problem. As I had mentioned any email from Netflix will be received to one gmail id (or any email id) of the administrator.

1. A common email id needs to be created by the administrator and the credentials needs to be shared to all members of the group.
2. The administrator needs to set forward any email received from Netflix to the new email id that has been created.
3. When Netflix detects different IP address, it will throw out a communication on TV stating to confirm "Netflix Household settings"
4. Any member who receives this communication on TV needs to choose the email option displayed on the TV.
5. Now the member needs to sign in to the email created by the administrator and open the Netflix email and confirm the "Netflix Household" in the email.
6. Netflix on TV will start working now.

There are other methods but this seems to be the simple workaround as you just need to confirm the setting through email and Netflix starts working.

Can't this easily be stopped by Netflix if they wanted to?

People don't change houses that frequently and they definitely don't change to the same houses over and over again, right? Or is this being done by such a small faction of people, that it doesn't matter to Netflix?

Long live the high seas..!!! Arrrr

Our group is using it for more than a year now. If they restrict we need to just move on.
I don't get you second line, why do they need to change houses?

My understanding of your arrangement -

When Netflix sends you an email asking you to approve your "household", it essentially means that you have now changed location and hence you want to have a new IP be able to access Netflix on the TV.

Each member is able to approve the E-mail by themselves instead of depending on the administrator due to the E-mail shared between the group.

By each member doing this several times a month, the Netflix "Household" is shifted from one IP to another frequently.

In an average real life scenario, you might shift houses once every year or once every 6 months.

So when the Netflix "Household" keeps changing between the same set of IPs/IP ranges 3-4 times within a month and this keeps happening every month, wouldn't Netflix easily be able to filter out such accounts?

Happy to know that it works though. Anything to bleed these corporations dry.
