Hello guys,

Can someone comment on JBL Creature III 2.1 System? Is it worth getting them for 2.8K!

Any other alternatives cheaper than this? Around 3-4K? Loudness not a priority but Quality is.

Or a good Bluetooth (or wireless) system in the same range?

Thanks.

Yep I picked up mine 3 months ago in sale on amazon for 2.5k was a pretty good deal

The speakers are of pretty good quality considering its JBL, the speakers themselves are quite small and light, they feel like tweeters but they can get the job done depending on what you use them for.

For example - These speakers are made for casual listening of music, in a small space like a room, where you just plug-n-play them into a laptop or a audio system.

For movies and tv its a little disappointing since the bass is high which is good for music but the mid tones are flat so dialogue seems low in volume, I found myself pumping up the volume in VLC and on the speakers to hear the dialogue
sometimes you download rips of movies or tv shows which have low sound so it can be a annoyance but not like you can't hear at all.

For games its pretty good too, although you feel at times the bass is lacking and the sound is very sharp since game audio is heavily compressed.

The volume buttons are sweet, touch sensitive although are susceptible to being unresponsive at times due to a loose connection in wire of the right speaker but this is a minor issue

The sub-woofer or more like the main speaker of this system is where most of output comes from the bass and treble knobs are quite good nice since they have a midpoint, when you turn them they slight lock into a mid position where its most optimal for listening.

What else can I say....they sound exceptionally good for music, whether you plug in a ipod or any device , For the size they are very effective which is surprising.

Oh and they do look great for the price and decent performance, I would definitely recommend them, just make sure you have no background noise in your room to interfere with the sound coming from the tiny speakers as you'll find yourself often upping the volume directly from the speakers.

Hey zibalingz, thank you so much for informing about everything. I had read some mixed reviews about it being not loud enough, or its fragility which causes buttons to go down or wires causing issue etc. But yeah I wasn't looking for very high volume-d speakers. And after your review I think its great, specially at less than 3K. I can manage a lil low volume in movies.

Thanks a lot. I will go with them.

Case closed. :)
