Me and my brother wanted to get into sim racing, there was even a guy selling his G29 but withdrew it later on. It reatils for 24k and we might buy it in a month or two. In mean time I was looking at used offers, where I would get the wheel, pedals and shifter for around 20-25k. The main reason we are preferring first hand is we can buy it on EMI lol
@fastapifastdisks might have one.

Planning to purchase a Sim Rig/Cockpit & looking for advice from Sim racing members

Anyone using a Sim Rig/Cockpit?

Please share feedback on equipment used as being very niche there's very little info/feedback on this.

Thanks.

What's the cheapest we can go for load cell pedals? I have a g29 to pair it with...
Recently picked up the Moza SRP pedals (2 pedal set, 75 kilo load cell brake) from https://virtualracinghub.com/ . Delhi based and the owner is very responsive on WhatsApp. They have a 10% off code at the moment 'desiracer'. This plugs directly into a USB port, so it will work with the G29, select Separate Axis.

Pardon the mess :rolleyes: , I had to drill a couple of holes to mount the pedals and didn't clean up before taking the photograph

Has anyone played KartKarft recently, it is currently on sale on steam and I would like to buy it, but I can't seem to find content related to the game online

You're welcome. Simforge is great, but you need a dedicated rig because those have 80kg load cell brakes. I use a wheel stand - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07XXP51N4/ and if I stomp on the brakes, it'll lift the entire wheel stand, so might be an option once I get a dedicated sim rig. I notice that they're selling a sim rig now, but quite expensive - https://simforge.in/shop/product/simforge-4080-rig/

What is the average cost of playing iracing annually (excluding the membership costs) ?
Really depends how many tracks n cras you wanna buy... you can get quite far with the basic free stuff till calss b. Mazda mx cup.
Yearly like 3k membership.
Plus 10-15$ per track or car. (Only once you love the game.)

I have had it for a few years now n own about 10 paid tracks plus about 5 cars. And now I maybe buy 2 tracks a year and a new car. So you can kinda estimate.

Once you get into it though the gear is way way more expensive though.

Hi I'm just stepping into the Sim racing world with a thrustmaster tx300, could you help me out with your review on the xfeagles wheel stand you purchased from amazon.

It'll work well with a TX300 wheelbase. There are some excellent reviews on Amazon, I've posted a short one there too - Amazon Reviews
Look for the review by PURANDHAR BUDDHARAJU, he covers everything.
