Any tips on saving mobile plans?

Are there any tips on saving monthly or annual mobile plans as a family? Since some need only internet, some need only call facilities.
Will post paid work or family sharing wroth it?
For instance, I paid for 1.5gb per day and unlimited calls. I will probably use ~20MB per day since I am always on wifi and do not call that much. But I occasionally need the internet for gpay. etc.

How do you guys handle these as a family?

EDIT: I am also switching my Jio Fiber to Airtel fiber and dunno if there are bundle deals with Airtel Fiber + Sim card family plans.

O.o
Might wanna fix that.
Anyway weren't govt. trying to start voice-only plans for those people who had basic non-smart phones? I read about it somewhere.
Edit: Seems like they are already here.
Those voice only plans are a scam. The plans which used to offer 6gb data and voice, now only offer voice. You will have to pay higher for voice + 6gb data, so essentially price hike

gpay.
You can make use of postpaid family plans.
What will be the pricing for these? lets say for 5-6 sims.. Tbh, outgoin calls are for emergency uses only, there is always wifi in work places and at home.
idk if post paid plans charge for incoming calls. Jio and Airtel are my options

Also I am getting Airtel FTTX so are there offers with Airtel fiber and family plans?

+1, due to this (talk time only plan), in my family, nearly 5-6 members stop paying via UPI and now they all start dealing in cash.
Sooner or later we will find good amount of cash in hand (in market with everyone) and UPI payment system loose some small amount transactions/customers.
Who know Telcos + UPI make a plan to stop middle class/lower middle class using UPI?

I wonder how those consolidated plans like family or airtel black fare if you are stuck with one service provider for most of your requirements including multiple mobiles and broadband. Do those come cheaper compared to individual plans ?

Jio is kind of cheaper for family plans
1. You need a base plan 449 per month (75GB base data)
2. each member can be added for Rs 150 per month ( 5Gb additional data per member, in addition to 75GB base)

How does a jio voice recharge of
448 with 84 days validity
and
along with it a 100 rs data recharge of 5gb, valid for 90days sounds..

I guess this would work out to be 548 for 84 days.. If I am not missing something ans if they can be clubbed together

I am more comfortable with prepaid.. How does the above combo sounds guys

So if i opt for voice only for one year, and get like rs.151 9 GB per pack (Validity same as existing pack), 9 gb will last still the 1 year validity if not exhausted?

I don't think the 151 plan is available anymore..
At least I couldn't find it, though it shows here
But once you enter your number to buy it's nowhere to be found

So far my understanding of jio affordable plans.

448 - (unlimited voice only, validity 84 days) (annual cost 1947)

189 - (unlimited voice + 2gb data per month, validity 28 days) (annual cost 2464)

249 - (unlimited voice + 1gb data per day, validity 28 days) (annual cost 3246)

I would add that the long term (336 days) voice only plan of 1748 is the cheapest if you are able to commit to that.
I really need to evaluate our family's mobile, broadband and OTT spends as a whole and see if any of the bundled offers are cheaper.

I think this is the real deal.
Voice only pack for 1 year, and then add data which will use the existing voice only validity (For cases where mobile data is needed only for Gpay, etc. if home and work place have wifi).
Its cheaper than family plan too it seems.

If you’re on Airtel, get Airtel Axis Credit Card. All the calculations change with that sweet 25% cashback. Though it has a 250rs cap each month, you can easily manage by doing quarterly recharge for yourself and family members.

I was looking for voice only plan which has the maximum validity since don't want to pay ambanis more than what is needed. I used to pay ₹399 in 2017 then after that they started increasing prices and now after that fat son wedding they increased some more from ₹666 to ₹890. Aholes.
Since BSNL does not have 5G I didn't take it or else I once tried to change then Jio CC came and asked me why I wanted to change. I told them that they are overcharging almost every plan they introduced 1st and she told me to go for lower plans and took leave.
