Hi,
Sorry about the status update there. My indecision with rig-gallery was and is mainly due to vbulletin (the software that TE runs on). There as a brand new version of vbulletin that changes the rules of templating behaviour and code practices. However the new code has remained very buggy and constantly changing which does not allow for a stable code to be written on top of it as yet. Even after 4 months, things are hardly any better although some sites are now upgrading(and regretting)
Anyway the good part is that we have decided what we plan to do as far as the upgrade roadmap of TE goes. I will update this thread in a few days when we don't have to give you a date but a direct link.
