3-4 TB in a week , enough for two years .
 
Most torrents have gone red for me IPT , SCC and others is MTNL doing something
 
facing issues with SCC, but looks like it's got nothing to do with isp, coz even accessing via SSH tunnel comes the issue.

Is anyone else able to login to SCC?
 
Torrents going upto 50% of my download speed for some secs then dropping to 3-10kbps. Irrespective of tracker. I am on reliance :annoyed:

Also how does it work on the SB. I transfer all my DL'ed content and .torrent files to the host. How long would 420GB take. So I can seed them off. Or I start fresh on the seedbox. Meaning new .torrent files. That would hurt my ratios, DL'ing stuff only.

What is the best way to start on SB:

1. Buy the package.
2. Is the .torrent client installed on it.
3. Tell the trackers I am on a SB.
4. Move some files for seeding to the host.
5. Pick up FL packages and start to seed. Build buffer.
6. Transfer back and forth from the host <----> home.

Also, can I seed same time from home and SB.

Also do all these allow multiple seeding (SB + home) and or SB:

1. DT.
2. TD.
3. IPT.
4. FL

Please let me know the optimal fashion.
 
Now this is weird. As soon as i start a torrent it works for 5 mins at very slow speeds and then my internet connection becomes totally dead. Then i have to wait around 10 mins to get connectivity. Any one has any solutions. :1ign13:

Torrent client is pre-installed , Download .torrent file to to your pc then use the seedbox webui to open the torrent , Dont seed from home & seedbox , seeding from seedbox will be enough , download freeleech torrents , dont download the freeleech packs completely as they are very big & even one pack can take up all your disk space, download only about 10-20 % , you can get a one week seedbox for $2 only from seed.st which can easily give you 2-3 TB buffer on ipt.

Didnt they ban India , do you use a proxy?
 
Have joined there before they banned India. EDIT : indian signups.

Everything is normal now. There was some downtime there.

Yes, you get a choice of rTorrent+Rutorrent (recommended), or Deluge (not so much) , or uTorrent (plague comes to mind)

Yes, do this on any and every tracker you will use the box on

4. Move some files for seeding to the host.
No, unless you have a decent up speed it is just wasting time, download fresh files uploaded to the tracker not older than 2-5 minutes preferably freeleech or porn or both
, be aware of your seedbox capabilities(i.e speed and adjust your strategies accordingly (trial and error)
you can't go wrong with freeleech

5. Pick up FL packages and start to seed. Build buffer.

Not recommended, you should focus on building a decent buffer first and foremost, transferring to home will sacrifice the box's up speed
but if you require some file on your seedbox, use a combination of Internet download Manager and CuteFTP as they use multi threaded connections
don't worry too much Rutorrent resembles uTorrent interface , you will get the hang of it in an hour at most

no more than one active download at a time, (multiple download will sacrifice up speed and hence ratio)
when you are downloading a new torrent stop all other active uploads and downloads

since you are using a Kimsufi 2G divided by 2
it makes sense to keep maximum active torrents limited to 5 or less

2. TD.(yes, but i never used a box on it so i am not sure)
3. IPT. (yes, inform staff first to be sure)
4. FL (no, multiple location seeding/leeching is not allowed, when tracker detects a change in IP it stops announce for 45 minutes.
when you are seeding or leeching on Filelist ,stop all filelist torrents at home)

Also, I will probably buy my own package (no offense to Metalspree's honorable offer to share); but i want to do it first time for "bigger kicks". By the way, the link you gave, all boxes are filled, will use Metalspree's link to pick up a box.

So in theory you are saying:
Use the SB to build up a massive ratio, and use the normal home client for DL. Once I have got a ratio enough for 1-2 years. Disengage services for the SB. And then just leech. Keeping a monitor on ratios.
 
^ you have to notify so that they dont get suspicious that your a/c is being shared & ban you, you will be leeching from a different ip & browsing from your home ip so the staff may think you are sharing a/c & the seed box is also shared by multiple users so it is necessary to inform the staff .

You dont have to Pm anyone just do this - In your profile under "Info" type "Using seedbox"

varies from tracker to tracker. Very few ask user to specifically inform tracker staff

Generally you should put one comment in your profile info stating that you are using SB.
Something like this :

- Using seedbox. SB IP is 255.255.XXX.XXX. (no need to worry for hiding your IP)
- It's shared/dedicated SB. (If Shared) there are X people sharing this SB including me.
- Accessing site from <stat places from where you login to tracker and DL .torrent file to load into your SB> Home and office. Home IP is 255.255.XXX.XXX and office IP is 255.255.XXX.XXX
- (Optional) Using SSH tunnel (or any VPN, proxy you use, but apart from SSH tunnel, trackers don't recommend using proxies) to seedbox too.

Or else... On particularly for IPT you can PM staff with same above info, and they will ask for few screenshots for proof. And they will put a note to your account that you use SB.

But best thing is to add a note similar to above in your profile info.

i have no idea about DT

it is economics really
which is better 100Mbit 5TB upload per month for 30 dollars for more than a couple of months
or 1Gbit Unlimited upload (17-25TB feasible on trackers like IPT, depending on user) for 1 month for 28 euros/35 dollars
