anyone playing nfs mw yet. i'll be getting it on saturday. so 48 long hours of waiting.......

still making space for it .. damn i got 400gb and i dont have space to install the 4cd game!!! sheesh!!

it should hit shelf today. actiually some stores already have it. Yesterday my regular store at borivali called me telling that the game is with them.
 
Got it on the ps2 finally, the cut-scenes and the story are so cool, like a movie or something. Gameplay is awesome, even better the Midnight Club DE, one of the first NFS i'm truly liking after NFS3:HP. :hap2:
 
Got my hands on it yesterday.. Couldn't install it at first cause, coz it was sayin my system doesnt have DirectX9.0c.

Solved it by running the setup in Win2000 compatibility. :P :hap2:
 
I hated nfs3. It had the worst feeling of speed among all the nfs games, 100+ felt like 50.
It had the best intro movie though, maybe even one the best ingame fmv's of all time up there with warcraft3.

The sense of speed in nfs2/4/5 > *
Also nfs4 had all the tracks of nfs3 in addition to its' own, wish the game could be played under xp.
 
Feel of speed is awesome in MW ...... after playing MW i tried UNDGND2 and cars were like crawling .......
 
NFS MW(PC) is simply the best game i have ever played.

Even better than Midnight 3 Dub Edition (X-Box).

Im 8th on the Blacklist currently :D :D.

Own a nice Mustang GT pimped out :D...

Got it from the 8th Lister who i beat. Jewels i believe :D.
 
I got it yesterday. This game totally rocks. I played the demo of underground and underground 2 bt after playing the MW demo, i said i had to buy this game and im nt disappointed at all with my purchase.
Im totally in awe wt the customisations available. Only one question, is it better to play with the keyboard or some kind of game controller. Im a noob when it comes to gaming accessories so any suggestion wud be welcome

Analog gamepad definitely, you're missing out on all the fun hunched over a keyboard.

A keyboard only seems ok untill you use a good analog pad, they are pathetic for such games especially when tackling hairpin bends (tap tap tap tap).
And even worse are the pop games.
 
too slow for me, i mean i neet to turn analog stick all the way. For me, turn handbreak , gas nitro is better in u turns :P

May not get the fastest lap times but wins the race for sure :P
 
Never played NFS4. But NFS3's soundtrack was amazing. Could never really settle in for any other NFS's (including UG series, porche unleased, that was too old school and NFS:HP2) but MW is, a very good improvement. Guess they were frustrated with Midnight Club 3: DE singlehandedly owning the UG series.

Can't imagine there are people willing to play racing games with keyboard. Cheap analogue controllers for the PC are out everywhere now.

Actually the keyboard is slower since it's a digital device trying to emulate analog input at a preset rate (if it was truly digital, the steering would be uncontrollably twitchy anyway).
Turning the same amount of degrees with a keyboard takes more time and effort than on an analog stick.
With a stick, you can go from idle to max lock in an instant as opposed to a keyboard which will just steer all the way no matter what.

Laptimes don't suffer much since it's an arcade racer, but the fun factor takes a nosedive :(
