I started smoking approximately 2 years back, and I want to stop it completely. My habit is currently under control and I only smoke 1 or 2 a day, but I find it very very hard to quit completely.
I was wondering has anyone tried Nirdosh, or Nicorette or any such products?
Also has anyone managed to quit completely?
Nicorette will only help you if you really wanna quit.
You gotta ask , what's that thing that's holding you back?
You know when you are trying to quit then you get a tingling sensation in your brain?A funny feeling in the entire body and you know that you need a cigerate.
That happens when your brain need nicotine.
Nicorette will help you get over that feeling , since it will supply nicotine to your brain and shut it up.
But there's more to smoking ciggerate and Nicotine won't help you with that.
If you like the social circle it brings you, it won't help you.
If you just got a habit of sucking up something after a meal, nicorette won't help that.
In short there's two things that will force you to smoke ciggerate:
1) The physical aspect:
When you don't have ciggy for a long time, your body starts feeling funny and hot.
Your concentration dips down.
In all these aspects Nicorette will help you.
2) The psychological aspect
Give you time to think something.
Just like the feeling of sucking something.
Gives you a distraction.
Helps you get over boredom.
This part you gotta control yourself and Nicorette won't help you here.
