Dual Sim Card Phone Manufacturers & Suppliers

As seen in the above link, are these available in delhi/India, what price range & any user experience to share?

I am getting fed up with marketing calls inspite registering in DNC & I cant change my number so I am thinking that I buy a new sim &use both so over 3-4 months I can be sure that my new number is with all my contacts then I discontinue the old number.

a friend of mine is using it .. no probs till now .. no idea abt dual sim working together .. will check and let u know

If u ask me about Chinese, then i wont suggest u to buy Chinese phones. My bro was using One chinese Dual Sim, Touchscreen mobile.. It went to hell after 3 months...

as i said i friend of mine is using it for the last 5 months or so. dual sim works too .. just had a prob with soft once ..he had it reinstalled from the vendor. decent handsets if u can get those cheap. say below 5k . :)

Can u tell what went wrong (Hell) with it?

dunno.. it turned off, and nothing was reason.. checked all things, battery, processor and all.. but we couldn't find fault. The repairing charges were going higher than its real price.. So preferred to throw it in Dust bin :P

I checked 3 handset today in the Gaffar market delhi 4500-8000, all dual sim with very attractive features, I am thinking of buying 1 at least in the coming days.

A college picked one of these ..... touch screen + you can watch TV on it..... for 7K. Looks alright to me , cant say how long will it last.... I were you , i would stay away from these.

Got my self a dual sim Chinese PDA phone with FM/TV/other host features & I must say once u get used to using such feature packed phone u wont want other mobiles.

^^ Yes until the phone breaks down and the dealer won't want to see you again (simply cause 99% of these phones don't have after sales service.) Unless one has cash to throw around I'd never recommend someone to get these phones.

but both sim work together?

Both the sims work and with features like the Iphone its great.

one big drawback is battery life and some crazy things like if you are playing a song .. the display panel is always lit or if you have the message info switched on , every 3 to 5 min the screen comes alive !

other than that it works great and that too with touch screen. what else do you need for 5 k !

If you want a decent dual SIM phone, there's the Samsung D800 or D810. Not sure about the exact model number. I do know that it starts with a D8. I wouldn't trust these Chinese phones half as far as I could throw them!

THe battery work around is to set the LCD brightness to lowest, its too bright & when playing the audio player come out of the audio menu to Home screen then the screen saver should come on & the screen will switch off saving you the power.

My phone has excellent battery life with these 2 settings, I charge it only after 3-4 days. Audio player if used regularly the surely u would need daily charge.

U r so right, since u cant make a difference in Chinese & Korean, u assume that these are all Chinese made, where as most of them are Korean companies developing these OEM kits & suppling further (mine is Korean not Chinese).

What about Samsung & LG, which part of the globe do they come from???................................they are Korean too which u blindly trust.

Have u ever seen or used a expensive item from china, I use 7 gadgets which are Chinese & they all have been working fine including my Zenith laptop too from which I am replying.

Chill dude! I was just talking about the fake knock-offs that are made there. I do know that even big companies like Nokia and Apple have their phones assembled in China. At least the big brands give you some kinda warranty and stuff, unlike the no-name Chinese knock-offs which may work for a few months and then you either throw them away or try to get them repaired. No chance of getting them replaced.

And to answer your question, yes, I have used expensive electronics items made in China.
