It appears the battery of my trusty old 800VA UPS has given up finally. The UPS was purchased sometime during August 2007 and has served me ever since. Until now, it was connected to a 40" LCD, the PS3, a DAC and a basic HT system. Since yesterday evening, the 'Replace Battery' LED indicator has been flashing RED after the quick test once it is switched on.

I dismantled the battery cover and removed the battery after unplugging the connector. The battery model is RBC32. However, I am unable to figure the Ampere-hour rating of this battery to order a replacement. Nor does it seem that APC has a authorised distributor in the city. Since it weighs close to 5 Kg, ordering it from elsewhere will call for expensive shipping rates so I wouldn't want to do that either.
If someone has replaced the battery of this unit before, could you point me to the Ah rating of this unit? Here is the snap of the OEM battery if it helps.
One more query - say the OEM battery is rated at 7Ah, if I am getting a replacement from another manufacturer which is rated at 9Ah, would it be fine if I am using this battery?
TIA.
