Apple iPad availability/purchase in Delhi?

The hype got to you too? :P Some of my friends have also become converts. They couldn't stop bashing it when it was announced, and now they can't wait to get their hands on it.

I might be interested in a tablet too, but whether I go with Apple or Notion Ink or, dare I say it, the mystical Microsoft Courier, remains to be seen.

Get in touch with people from Palika and Gaffar and show them interest. They will bend over backwards to get it for you if they sense your willingness and a hefty profit.

iPad is going to be a monster hit, IMO....

I'm salivating at the prospect of getting my hands at one and fondling and caressing it... :p

Oh no , Ever since it was first announced I wanted one .. I don't care if anyone finds it practical or not .

Trying to get it via a friend from US less chance though .. Will only buy from India if available around 30k .

BTW any one seen the latest ep of Modern Family :drool2:
 
Frankly i am more interested in upcoming iphone HD than ipad.the only reason i will ever get it is to use it as a GPS device for my car.
 
So this thing is jailbroken already!

Can't wait to see the full potential of iPad being tapped by the apps in the jailbreak scene :)
 
The apple India website lists the iPad as coming soon.

I was told by an Apple employee at Croma that we could expect it around end of April for near to 27K for the 16GB version.

But I dont know how much reliable that info is.
 
Never trust Apple india "employees". They are talking out of their a$$es. They kept feeding me the same BS about magic mouse availability saying it will be available in next 10 days. THIS WENT ON for 3 months... :(

the iPad 16G is being offered at ridiculous prices of around 40K at ebay india and other sites.

I'll wait for official launch before buying one.
 
^ Do keep us updated on this , If its coming out by April end then I ll buy one from here rather than getting it from US because of obvious reasons .

I have had screen issues with iPhone 2G bought from US and ended up paying a lot of money for repairs .
 
hey.. even i'm really interested in picking this up. i was i two minds earlier but i got a hands on a couple of days ago and was BLOWN away. went to alfa right then to pick one up but the **** faces were charging 45k :(

and i always though of them to be the best for pricing :P .. anyway.. if you (OP) hear anything keep us posted. and the word from everyone in apple is june for now. dunno when it would actually show up.

iv contacted KMD as well but he isn't replying for now. ideally if we get the 16 gig one for anything less than 30k it would be awesome. :ohyeah:
 
Not willing to pay anything over 30k for the 16gb model .

*for now :P , Will wait for a month or so and see how it goes .
