Guys.. AFAIK any iPhone can be unlocked as of now.. If I had money I would want to grab it ASAP.. considering the mind that iPhone 3GS is not available in India and even if it is then it would cost a pretty penny.

The latest baseband is having issues even after being jailbroken. Some users iPhones have been bricked too. I would have loved to buy this phone right now if I could've been sure that this phone would work fine with no issues. The problem is if this phone gets bricked..there is not much you can do about it considering that iPhone's from US or anywhere else are not considered in warranty in India. The other stupid thing is Airtel and Vodafone are still selling the iPhone 3G at cut-throat prices which doesn't make any buying sense.

his phone is SOL if its upgraded to 3.1.3 .

If he even has LOCKED 3.1.2 firmware then also it will be unlockable..

attach iPhone to your computer and then download forecast from here

1) Get Blackra1n -> Here blackweather

2) Connect Phone to PC

3) Run Blackra1n

4) Click on Big Button

5) Wait for it to reboot

6) Goto Settings->General->About and post the Baseband version here
