can ne one pls explain.....what is the difference btwn the 2.....and how can i differentiate myself....just in case if i end up buying the cheaper(tray or whatever) one,for a higher price....the price difference btwn the 2 is almost 400 bucks....

There are two 7750 . One is Black Edition and other in non BE..

Donno if retailers has both in stock :p The BE one should set you back by 3.4-3.5k :)

U can get the processors in two kinda packing, one with seled box packing which termed as Retail n other without any box i.e OEM.

Don't buy OEM ones its just contain 1 yr warranty imo, whereas retail packaging covers 3 yrs warranty.

A tray/OEM processor comes bare in a tray, without all the extras like heatsink, documentation, fancy packaging etc. and possibly a shorter warranty.

A retail chip includes all the above and a full warranty.

Do confirm that the retail packed X2 7750+ BE comes with a heatsink though, since certain Black Edition procs used to come without one.
