Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Discussion Thread

Errr...I'm talking about the storyline and that is something you have definitely missed. Besides, you have missed out on playing Cristina's memories, which is a real highlight of the game.

^Yeah those are really the best...Rest all is same...but anyways the games still great.

Also how many have you played the secret location Vlad the Templar Mission? You get an awesome sword in the end.

Completed the game a few minutes back and I take back all that I said before. This game was kick-ass. In fact, to me, it surpassed Brotherhood and came very close to AC2. I love how they knitted the whole storyline for Desmond's ancestors and how everything was revealed throughout this game. All that chaos and confusion made up in the past game's ending finally began to make sense. This game also made me appreciate Altair's storyline, for once. I would love it, if they (Ubisoft) could bring up some sort of DLC of how he ended up with Maria. The last 2-3 memory sequences were awesome.
Yusuf's demise was very saddening

I love the way they handled Ezio's feelings for Sofia, very subtly. As expected, top notch voice acting and script. Ezio's voice and his aging look were pulled off brilliantly. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to the next game.

This game definitely showed the human side of Ezio , but there were many moments in the game which made the game dull except for Dungeon Keys section.

Have you seen Embers?

Yes Altair. In fact, that's the first thing I did when I was travelling to work, this morning. After watching it, I can proudly say that Ezio is now my favourite video game character of all time.
<

This short film was a good send off for his character and it was over-ridden with emotion. Well done Ubisoft, well done!

Ezio has been my favorite character ever since AC II came out and this has to be one of the best moment of Ezio

They already have. Its called Assassins Creed : Bloodlines. Its for the Playstation Portable

No but seriously, Bloodlines wasn't that great. It didn't fit into the full AC story loop and Maria was a complete b1tch. Although for PSP game standards, it was still epic.

Oh! I didn't know that. Maria's accent sounded British. How did Altair end up with her?

Also,
Did it show Abbas killing Altair's son?

She was British. She started off as a Templar. Altair kidnaps her after a fight at the start of the game.

Over time spent with Altair, and the ending of the game she decides to forgo being a Templar. We don't exactly seem them falling in love but I suppose it starts exactly at the end of Bloodlines.

No no no, Bloodlines is a small adventure that happens exactly after AC1 ends.

That adventure ends with Altair and Maria walking into the sunset and Altair discussing he would like to study the Apple. This is before Altair returns back to Masyaf with Maria and gets married I suppose

Interesting! It's a good thing this game managed to highlight Altair's life. Bridging these gaps is exactly what we needed to appreciate his character.

Finished the game.To be honest i have played ACI,ACII and this one.If i have to arrange them according to their quality then i would say AC Revealations then AC II after that AC I.

This game is the best in the series it gives some awesome cinematic experience with a good storyline or better presentation.Top notch voice acting and a good climax.

The game looked stunning the textures were really good.In fact this can be even rated as the visually best in the series or better than most of the other TP games present.

In short kudos to ubisoft they deserve an applause for this.

I missed to comment on 2 more things; Jesper Kyd's touching OST and Ezio minstrel songs.

This line totally cracked me up: "I'm a tactless minstrel, I sing off-key for coins. If you spot me in the streets, please kick me in the loins."
