yesterday tried the demo.Honestly i did not liked it.Looked like an arcade title.QTE were also not much convincing.

I am currently playing this one. More like a full length anime with QTE moments. Though I hate it when sometimes, I get too focused on the video and it throws QTE all of a sudden.

quixie, the game appears to be a tad too short going by the total gameplay hours. I'd say skip it as long as you could grab a second hand copy. A copy for the PS3 retails for almost 3.2k on eBay!

3.2k? Wow! Yep, sidelining till next year or used copy. :-)

Done with the game this morning and I enjoyed it. Although a bit short and my fingers hurt with all that QTE and button crunching, it was fun. The game felt like I was going through a season of Dragon Ball Z episodes. Each time Ausra would unleash his wrath, it felt like Goku powering up for a massive attack.

Lot of the game's story was based on Hindu mythology. You'll see a host of the Hindu deities references and words being put forth. The English voice acting was clearly out of place and most of it was just filled with useless amount of grunts from Asura. Some of the boss battles were done very well, but the variety in combat was pretty shallow. OST was good, repetitive but good. I recollect hearing a western cow-boy style tune somewhere during the game, felt completely out of place.

Over-all, I wouldn't say it was great, but a good effort. Definitely not worth excess of 3k.

Last but not the least, here's my 'ASS' rank (no pun intended).

played this game.it's almost like an orgy between god of war, mass effect and heavy rain.

nowhere near its 3k price range and definitely not worthy of a 8 which most gaming sites have rated it.the story was decent though and something which ultimately led me from throwing it away.

Completed Part I and the first chapter in Part II. I am not sure where this fits but this game looks like a blend of anime with loads of QTE and major button mashing. Looks like the devs. at Cyber Connect 2 was inspired by God of War III, smoked some pot and sat down with the script and game design. And for the record, in my playthrough Asura hasn't met with a single death as yet.

Anyhow, the short chapters with a break in between are a welcome change from those lengthy ones. The scale of the game is epic when it comes to boss fights but boss fights are plain stupid compared to those we have had in God of War III. I mean just some stupid QTE moves and that's it! Looks like a decent time killer and that's about it.

Completed the game. Concept was interesting at first but got boring. Load of QTE's but you are not heavily penalized for missing them, especially key moments. 3.2k is too high for this game.

Started this game today. Completed the first episode. I kinda liked the game as well as story so far. I like Asura as well. I'm playing through TB

So 3.2k not an issue for me!

Completed the title yesterday. Other than the major boss fights, this game is in its entirety a QTE fest! All that is required is to fill up the gauge and use the burst to complete a sequence. THAT. IS. IT! The voice over was downright ridiculous and the character models sucked! I mean Deus - the head of the 7 deities has those nice Michael Jackson designer shoes? WTF! Heck, even the teaser for the upcoming episode - they were shown at the beginning of each episode. How does that even make the slightest sense? Instead it should have been previewed at the end of each episode so it gives the player some incentive to move ahead and try the next episode. This was really dumb.

What I loved however is the comic strip displayed between each episode. And the music played in the background during the comic strip sequence. Anyhow, this was another time killer. Probably a 6 on 10.

Yeah those previews were downright dumb really.spoiler fest if there was one.

I just completed Part 1. What is the meaning of credits after Part 1 when there is a part 2? Its foolish. The game is quite fun it terms of arcade and all. Will finish it today. The comic thing is good. Lots of indian names such as Durga , Mithra etc. The preview before episodes destroy the whole episode

It's in an episodic format. There might be different people working on each episode. So at the end of each chapter, you'll see the credits flowing in, listing their respective contributors. Same was with Alan Wake and Siren: Blood Curse.

But in the end it could have been together. Like Episode this to this - Credits etc.

Nope in alan wake after episodes there was no credits.Only the title and the music.

I mean the whole theme of the game is presented in an episodic manner. Just like a TV show, it will have multiple seasons (chapters) and within it, are it's episodes. After each episode ends, you'll have the credits rolling in and along-side a preview of the next one. Similarly, at the start of each episode, you'll have a re-cap of the earlier one. This approach in video games, is slowly starting to create a niche.

@Ankur: It was on the 360 version.
