mine s T2300 ie 1.66 duo core 667 fsb

1gb ram ,667 mhz => transcend is the company.

its 5400 sata and i was interested in that only coz of the heat issues with 7200.

The screen is 15.4 wide screen wxga+.(I just love the clarity)

Integrated 1.3 mpx cam , which is great.

nd ofcourse the main reason Ati X1600 :D

Nd yeah the guy s right abt the t2300 in india , its very difficult to find t2400 or 2500 in here.

Hey Sirius Black, thanks for your inputs on s96j. Howz you lappy performing. upto your expectations?

I called Redington yesterday to order the s96j, unfortunately they have run out of DVD Burners:( the estimate they have given is Rs.48500 + 4% taxes = Rs.50440:hap2:

The specs are: Intel Core duo T2300 1.66GHz, 15.4" WXGA Screen, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, ATI x1600(256 MB dedicated), Wireless internet, 1.3MP webcam, CD Burner(Combo drive)

They also ran out of Wi-Fi card but will be getting it in a few days.

I think i will wait for some time to check if the dvd burner comes in stock as i would prefer to have that in my lappy.

Does anyone have any details of other barebone sellers in Mumbai?
