For other routers/access points i've used so far does not have this issue. Even this router works fine if i keep it in router mode(DHCP or Static in linksys itself). Only in bridge mode when main router restarts, i had to change to DHCP, then again to Bridge mode, again this is not always happening :(. For now set static IP in my main router for this node, will monitor and update.
This was never worked... Always facing this problem on restart:( some time it requires multiple restart to get the Internet back and sometimes I had to restart my main mikrotik router also.

Yesterday got frustrated and gone back to openwrt stable version. Though this does not have above issue, but having very poor wireless performance. Even sitting within one meter from ln1301, I get only 100mbps and I've 200mbps airtel. Slightly larger distance like 4 metres in adjustant room, speed drops to 30 mbps. I'm not sure is this due to so many wifi networks near me, more than 15 ssids. But this was never a problem with other Wi-Fi routers, neither in stock firmware. In fact stock firmware wifi performance is the best compared to all my Wi-Fi APs and routers I've experienced.

So again gone back to stock firmware, And this is when accidentally I found out, stock firmware perfectly working fine in bridge mode provided ethernet cable is connected to LAN ports and not in WAN port. Earlier also I remember trying by connecting to LAN port, but it shows red Led, so thought Internet was not working. Now also showing blinking red LED, but Internet is perfectly working fine. Tried power resets multiple times and it always works. Covered LED in black colour tape :)

That's because stock firmware uses proprietary drivers best optimized for the hardware & which openwrt never uses because of its open source principles. This is why openwrt suggest using only that hardware for which open source drivers are available & working fine.

Did you try NSS firmware ? Official is not NSS enabled . Stock is NSS enabled .
