Yes .3-4 pcs of STX left in stock . Might get sold out soon, since we have quiet a few website customers who have been mailing and waiting for them since a long time .
 
^ The prices for D2X were turning out to be higher than STX inspite of STX being a superior card so we decided not to keep the D2X in stock . If you still need a D2X we can arrange the same within 3-7 working days :).

Can someone give their subjective impressions on STX when paired with a good headphone? Both music and games.. TIA.

It's SQ is comparable to some of the finest DACs under 10k and it has enough power to drive most mid-high end headphones thorough its headphone amp out . It also has the facility of op-amp rolling to change the sound signature as per listeners tastes . For pure music hi-fi the STX is probably the best audiophile grade internal sound card available in the market today . You really can't get anything better ;). No wonder it's almost sold out faster than the cheaper DG and DX here :O .
 
Thanks faheem for the inputs. I will be using it only with my ad700, which is relatively easy to drive. How does it do in occasional hd movies?
 
Will update the thread after having a word with Rashi / Asus India. Earlier they were providing only 1 year warranty for audio cards in India , not sure if the same has been changed.

1X last Xonar Essence STX sold to psygeist .

STX currently out of stock . New stock should arrive soon.
