Frst of all thanks to The X Factor for breaking in the news ...

SONY ANNOUNCES NEW PSP ...
I think it also has a 1 UMD movie as well ...

Call it psp lite or wotever fancy name u can think of ...
Fact of the matter : IT IS ON ITS WAY ..

Now many ppl recently bought the psp .. including me ... and wid the new PSP announced (Read the all important 'NEW') and the TV OUT port .. surely many of the psp owners mst hv been gettin not too nice a feeling ..

New PSP means

-Lighter
-TV Out port
-1GB Memory
-1 UMD Movie
-Better Battery
-Prolly a better LCD
-Slimmer = Lesser Strain for ur hands
-Better sound, if not the Additional Speakers (evident from the pics)

^^All For ~$170 , Decent Deal ..
So now .. wanna know bout ur opinion regarding this...
Hw many of u already started thinking of seeking a potential buyer for ur psp til there is time ..

Only consideration wd be .. No Dark Alex in sight .. at the moment ....
bt there always wd be sm1 waiting in the wings to step into his shoes... ;)

Finally, they're utilizing the best available silicon chips to make it better, lighther and faster!!

Best Policy: Wait and watch till the new PSP releases...issues arise and addressed by Sony. Then would make a decision whether to buy or not.

Keeping my old one, no need for this one. Already got a 2gb card for it, and I don't need a TV-out. Battery isn't an issue for me, and weight is again not that much of a relevant factor.

Spacescreamer wanted a public poll, unfortunately i wasnt able to edit the existing poll .. so made a new poll and shifted all posts to that thread.. hope that clarifies things ;)
 
Thinner might mean more fragile, heating issues, compromising somewhere on quality :P eg: Ipod nano would break in people's pockets.

TV out might be good but many may not want it. No need to feel bad abt ur old PSP :).
 
No point in buying till there's a custom firmware out. Also, it has been confirmed that the firmware 3.60 and upwards have some features that won't be visible on the older PSPs. What if there is no downgrading/upgrading on the new ones?:fear:

hmm if there is a crack for new psp then ill sell mine..i needed usb charging badly also 10 hours battery life is damn advantageous
