News OpenWRT - Linux OS for Routers - Thread

Any suggestions how to configure a "1 - 2 - 3" failover/failback?

What I mean is, I have 2 ftth and 1 jio airfiber connections and want to run OpenWRT (with the Luci UI , I guess?) on my "Router PC" which is one of those rebranded Chinese mini PCs (Intel N5105 CPU, some RAM and a nvme SSD) with 4 intel 2.5gbit ports. It's a SkullSaints Onyx from electroniksindia.com bought a while back.

So the 3 connections configured so that the first one is primary and the only one online, only if the first one goes down, should the second one kick in and only if both the first and second connections are down, then the third one should kick in.

I've only been able to configure a "standard" failover/failback - meaning just 2 connections - one as primary and the other secondary. Wanted to do this so-called one-two-three sequence.

Thanks!

PS: I'm currently using a TPLink ER605 with configs/settings to sort-of mimic this behaviour.

I bought the Archer AX23 router from amazon, its supported by Openwrt and I installed it right after i unboxed it.
I was hoping to install multiple packages, but I found out it only have 8 mb of flash.
I bought it because of wifi 6, its working fine as a router though.

Have you looked into this mwan3 package? By the looks of it it should be able to do that I guess.

I'm just beginning with OpenWRT but heard about this package while looking into some other videos.

Openwrt on MX4300 . 2GB RAM + 1GB ROM , USB HDD loaded on USB Port :happy::happy:

Above 4k purchase , you could have imported MX4300 using Anmol USA service

What all packages have you installed? Any other devices connected to it?
